My point of view on Muslim Generation Z and recommendations for our community

Generation Z is a generation that has grown up in a world full of information. However, it often seems to be the case that they consume predominantly negative content and take little interest in education and upbringing. There is a growing problem with disrespect for elders and traditions, as well as a low inhibition threshold in relation to violence.

Another problem is the influence of social media algorithms on young people. They are often locked into a bubble of content that only reinforces their negative emotions and thoughts. This leads to many young people becoming system slaves and unable to control their bad traits such as nafs.

Unfortunately, some adults take advantage of this manipulability to promote their own interests, regardless of the impact on the younger generation. It is important that we as a Muslim community take responsibility and support young people to break their negative habits and develop their positive potential.

A crucial factor in solving the above problems is the promotion of a new awareness of the teachings of Tasawwuf in Generation Z. This teaching provides a kind of balm for the wounds of this generation and helps to correct their wrongdoings.

By introducing the young people of this generation to the teachings of Tasawwuf, they can learn to control their emotions and thoughts and overcome their negative behaviors. They can also learn to develop more compassion and understanding for others and lead a more conscious life.

It is important that we as a Muslim community become aware of how Tasawwuf can help heal this generation and help them to develop. By encouraging them to embark on a spiritual journey and explore their inner world, we can help them become positive members of society and realize their full potential.

It is imperative that Generation Z develops a balanced and healthy form of tasawwuf, supported by a correction in fikh (Islamic law). It is important that the older generation, who are already a few years ahead, help to positively influence this generation.

My conclusion is that if we leave Generation Z as it is, this could lead to the demise of all good virtues and values. It is therefore important that we as a Muslim community work to ensure that this generation undergoes a positive and healthy development and develops its full potential in a good way.

May Allah protect and preserve us and our future generations.
May our connection to him always remain strong. Amin.‍
