Challenges and opportunities: How Muslims in the West can shape a better future

Muslims in the West face various challenges. One of the most important is preserving their traditional Islamic identity. In times of social media and the influence of left/green lobbies, it can be difficult to find a balance. Many Muslims flee from this pressure and fall into the clutches of extremist groups such as the Wahabis or Salafis, who have nothing to do with the true identity of a Muslim and Islam.

It is therefore important to remain vigilant and preserve one's identity as a Muslim without falling into extremes.Another major challenge for Muslims in the West is how to deal with the changing global balance of power. China in particular is not a good option for Muslims, as the treatment of the Uyghurs shows that their rights and identity are being suppressed. This should not be forgotten.

There is a concern that Generation Z is not sufficiently prepared for future challenges and therefore hope cannot be placed in them.

It is therefore important to take targeted measures to prepare young people for the demands of the future. This can be achieved, for example, by focusing more on education and training and by promoting critical thinking and empathy. The teaching of tasawwuf is the solution to this with a fikh correction. Only in this way can we ensure that the next generation is able to successfully meet the challenges of the future.

Despite the many challenges that Muslims face in the West, there are also positive aspects that need to be recognized. In order to recognize these positive aspects, we need to look at things more critically and not allow ourselves to be manipulated. It is important not to give extremist groups such as cults a chance. We should also be aware that global and national changes have an impact on us and therefore think and act as far-sightedly as possible. By facing these challenges and staying positive, we Muslims in the West can shape a better future. In the West, many people suffer from severe mental and psychological strains such as depression, stress and burnout. It is important to recognize that these are widespread problems that can have many different causes.

Muslims who have knowledge and insight in the field of psychology and tasawwuf can make an important contribution to helping those around them. By showing them how to cope with their emotional and psychological distress, we can help them experience healing and pave their way to guidance. By taking on this task, we as Muslims in the West can have a positive impact on society and help those around us to lead happier and more fulfilling lives. In today's society, many people feel that they lack a clear vision and purpose in life.

For many, religion can be an anchor in life that gives them stability. However, it is important to convey a balanced picture of Islam based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

Unfortunately, there are many people who get lost in falsehood because they have never seen the truth. It is therefore an important task for Muslims to spread the true image of Islam and help people find a deeper meaning in their lives. However, we also have to accept that we cannot convince everyone, but at least we can do our part to help people see the truth and get on the right path.

It is a common misconception in the Muslim community that a homogeneous external image is an advantage. In fact, however, this can do more harm than good. Extremist sects such as the Wahabis and Salafis in particular undermine any positive progress and lead to regression.

It is therefore crucial that we consciously address the issue of sects and name them clearly. It must be made clear to the outside world that these sects are not representative of Islam and are harmful to both Muslims and non-Muslims. Especially in the West, where there is a long tradition of confronting sects, it is important to emphasize the tradition of Islam and to stress that sects are only splinter groups and are not a representation of Islam.by facing up to this task and working for clear differentiation, we as a Muslim community can contribute to a positive image and help to eliminate prejudice. We should actively campaign for a clear differentiation from sects and for a strengthening of the tradition of Islam. Only in this way can we ensure that true Islam is visible to the public and that the Muslim community can develop positively.
